MOTION & AI
Make it move.
Film, animation and AI imagery, made to the same standard as everything else. Whether it's a fund close, a keynote or a launch, we turn the message into something people actually watch to the end.
WHAT GOOD MOTION DOES
IT HOLDS ATTENTION.
A number on a slide gets a glance. The same number counting up on screen gets watched.
IT EXPLAINS FASTER.
Ideas that take a paragraph to describe can land in a few seconds of movement – a ring turning, a chart building, a path appearing.
IT TRAVELS.
One piece of motion works on the big screen, on LinkedIn, on the website and in the inbox.

SELECTED WORK
NEW TOOLS, PICKED UP EARLY.
Every project below used a tool or a way of working most studios hadn't picked up yet. That's deliberate. When something makes the work faster or better, I learn it early and put it to work for clients. AI is simply the latest.
ADVISERPAY · AI Characters + Video
A CAST, BUILT FROM NOTHING.
The brief. A new fintech mortgage brand needed faces – people advisers would recognise and trust – without the cost of casting, shoots and model releases every time the brand needed new imagery.
The idea. We created five character archetypes with AI – Simon, Amira, Jodie, Kwame and Clare – each designed to represent part of the adviser community. Like the Tensions keynote, each one was built from a consistent reference, so they can appear in any setting, pose or format and still look like themselves.
What it did. A cast the brand owns and can use again and again: on the website, in campaigns, in video and six feet tall on an exhibition stand. New imagery doesn't mean a new shoot.
SHELL · Annual Report Animations
THREE MARKETS, ONE DEADLINE.
The brief. Shell needed three sets of animations for its Truck, Car and Bike markets, plus the reports and ebooks to go with them, all on an extremely tight deadline.
The idea. We ran workshops with the client and built the scripts and storyboards live with them in the room. Then we changed how the animation was made: animators started moving placeholder shapes in After Effects while the illustrators were still drawing the characters.
The edge. A cloud workflow, in 2018. Every time an illustrator saved, the finished artwork dropped straight into the animation timeline, wherever in the world the team member was sitting.
What it did. Delivered on time, with the client involved in the art direction from day one resulting in far fewer change rounds at the end.
KANTAR · Agency of the Year Submission
24 HOURS, START TO FINISH.
The brief. Kantar Millward Brown was shortlisted for Agency of the Year 2017 and needed a video submission for the judging panel – fast.
The idea. I wrote the script and art-directed the shoot at a client event, with St Paul's as the backdrop. Everything was filmed in a single evening.
The edge. Editing live on location, as the footage came in, instead of waiting to get back to the studio.
What it did. A first edit was with the client by 9am the next morning, and the finished film was submitted inside 24 hours.
JLL · Earth Day
A TIGHT TURNAROUND, EVERY VOICE HEARD.
The brief. A social video for Earth Day to reinforce JLL's position as a sustainable real estate company, with a short deadline and a lot of senior stakeholders to keep happy.
The idea. We wrote the script and storyboard for senior sign-off, then built the film from JLL's existing photography and video, plus stock footage from Getty.
The edge. Frame.io, the week it launched alongside Premiere Pro. Every stakeholder could see everyone else's comments, so conflicting notes got settled in one round instead of three.
What it did. Out on time for Earth Day, with change rounds cut right down.
"Adam has been fantastic to work with and done an excellent job incorporating the feedback with a strong understanding of the brief… Adam has been a true partner in every sense of the word."
— Global Creative Director, JLL
WHY WD CREATIVE
EARLY, NOT EXPERIMENTAL.
Over ten years as a Design Director at Kantar, working on brands including Coca-Cola, Unilever, Shell, HSBC and Audi. A seat on the WPP Creative Council, then JLL's three-year global creative contract. Along the way: cloud workflows in 2018, Frame.io as soon as it launched, and AI imagery and video since 2023, using tools like Midjourney, Kling and ElevenLabs alongside After Effects and the rest of the Adobe suite. I now run training sessions for corporate creative teams on using AI well.
Early doesn't mean experimenting on your budget. By the time a tool reaches your project, I've already tested it on my own work, and the things clients worry about – who owns the output, what the licensing allows, how to keep everything consistent – are dealt with from the start.
Based in Warwickshire, working with businesses across the UK and internationally.
GOT A STORY THAT NEEDS TO MOVE?
Maybe there's a milestone to celebrate, a set of numbers that deserve better than a slide, or a launch that needs a film without the budget for a crew. Maybe you've tried AI imagery and it came out looking generic.
Whichever it is, tell me where you are. Book a twenty-minute chat, no charge and no hard sell. Within 48 hours I'll come back with some first thoughts, a fixed quote and a timeline. From there, I lead the project myself, from first sketch to final render, with you involved at every stage.
